3 Top Tips to Save Your Business Time

| November 24, 2019

If you are a productivity buff, odds are, this is not the first time you have read about “tips to save you time.” What you are about to read is not some generic, “run-of-the-mill content” generated by someone who doesn’t know what they are talking about. This advice is from a team member who is still in the trenches and has found time to write this despite the mass volume of tasks to do.

Let’s get into it, shall we?

Below you will find our 3 Top Tips that could save you an exponential amount of time heading into 2020.

1. Go paperless!

Wave goodbye to the days of paper and hello to the world of digital. Nowadays, we as businesses have an obligation to be environmentally sustainable and efficient. There are many benefits of going paperless, one of which is the amount of time you will save. No longer do you need to spend days (even weeks!), reconciling old files, searching through old papers or rummaging in the shredded paper bin. A paperless office, or even an office with considerably less paper, will save you time and increase your efficiency while also helping your environment around you.

2. Consolidate your tech stack

Today, there is an inundation of tech and apps in the digital ecosystem. It’s not that the technology you need isn’t there, it’s that you’re faced with so many options that you have ‘Choice Overload’. The old adage goes ‘less is more’, this is most likely what needs to happen to your tech stack. It’s better to have one source of truth (that collects all of your data) and is supported by several complimentative platforms. Once you can agree on your tech stack and consolidate all of your data, you will save an abundance of time that you would have spent trying to reconcile all your systems.

3. Consider offshoring / outsourcing

Outsourcing/Offshoring has proven time and time again that it can save your business an exponential amount of time. We understand that delegating your organisation’s work can seem pretty daunting at first. There are a lot of variables that come into play and your brain would mainly look at the risks (fair enough!). However, it’s about finding the right way to outsource. When you delegate your work external to your business, it’s important (and vital) to find someone who will become an extension of your team rather than a completely separate entity. At Find Your MVP, our team of specialists work with you, when you need us. We’re an extension of your team.
